2021 Paradise Chocolate Fest

The 2021 Paradise Chocolate Fest benefiting non-profit organizations serving youth has been postponed.

After careful deliberation, given increasing public health concerns and serious recent surges in reported infections of the highly contagious Delta Variant of COVID 19 in our region, we have had to make the difficult, but necessary decision to postpone this year’s Paradise Chocolate Fest scheduled for September 18, 2021.

Please know we are very sorry to share this disappointing news.  The health and well-being of the residents of our beloved Ridge community and the Fest attendees is our primary concern.

We now look forward to next spring, when we celebrate the Chocolate Fest during its traditional timeline – with plans for it to be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 in Terry Ashe Park.

Although we must put this very special event on hold, our mission of “Sweetening Kids Lives” will continue with the distribution of a Grant Award to each of this year’s beneficiary organizations.

Since its inception in 2006, Paradise Chocolate Fest has contributed over $350,000 to youth programs and services on the Paradise Ridge.  From scholarships to upgraded computers, sports uniforms, summer camp and dance classes, musical instruments, reading programs, vision screening, food banks and more, revenues from the Chocolate Fest ultimately reach out to impact the lives of thousands of Ridge youth, their families and our community.

Paradise Chocolate Fest is a special event of Youth on the Ridge Community Foundation.  Additional Fest fundraising events include “Chocolate, Wine & Brew”, “Chocolate Chase” and “Chocolate Thunder Motorcycle Run”. New dates for those events will be announced soon.

2021 Beneficiaries include – Achieve Charter School, Boy Scouts 316, Boy Scouts 770, Children’s Community Charter School, Cub Scouts 770, Gold Nugget Museum, Northern California Ballet, Paradise Friends of the Library, Paradise High School Football, Paradise Host Lions Club, Paradise Memorial Vets Hall, Paradise Nuggets Baseball, Paradise Piranhas Swim Team, Paradise Recreation & Park District, Paradise Rotary Interact, Paradise Stronger, Rainbow Girls and Ridgeview High School Rangers.
